We have served our ever popular cold meats and salad buffet on weekday lunchtimes since 1963 - best to reserve your table - even in winter!: Always a joint of rare roast Hubberton beef, Virginia ham, homemade scotch eggs, quiche, cheese & onion pie and salads (£14.50 including soup or sweet and coffee). If you're not a salad fan, try it. You won't be disappointed. A hot vegetarian dish or freshly cut sandwiches are always available as alternatives to the buffet.
Our evening and weekend menu is prepared from the best ingredients by head chef Antony Sunderland & team. Wherever possible, we use locally sourced ingredients, always from reputable suppliers. All of our food, with the exception of Simon and Andrew's award winning pork pies and Jenny Clarkson's ice cream, is lovingly made on the premises by us. Whether you are a vegetarian, are Coeiliac or happen to be on the latest diet trend, we can usually cater for your needs.
